Determination for financial security and savings leads to better quality of life

Maynor L is a tree trimmer I use from time to time.  He makes about $40,000 a year doing about 50-55 houses per week.  He and his wife have 5 children that are about 1 ½ years apart, ranging from baby to 10 years old.  His wife takes care of the children and does not earn money.  Amazingly they own a home in a decent part of town.

This is a reason of how they make it.  He takes lunch and drink to work in a cooler.  Thus saving at least $10 a day compared to his co-workers (a savings of $240 per month).  His wife always looks for discount food and goods by shopping either very late or very early depending on the store’s practices. They do inexpensive trips for vacation. The children wear clothes that’s passed down or purchased from salvation army or stores like that where they buy good clothes for cheap, which explains why their children are always very well dressed in crisp ironed nice clothes. They wear these clothes with pride and receive compliments about them.

Once I had a vehicle to sell after letting go of a worker. They came to pay for it with $3,000 cash they had saved up as a Safe Net Fund.
